Who is responsible

This policy covers Almost: Shop Less, Save More. Alexander Rysev, an individual based in Saudi Arabia, is responsible for the processing described here. For privacy requests, write to almostappsup@gmail.com and name the app.

Information used by the app

The app stores the information you enter locally: name or nickname, language and currency, profile preferences including gender or form of address and spending-habit selections, savings goals, purchase descriptions and amounts, budgets, progress and activity history. Selected images and information extracted from them are processed on the device for the feature you request. App preferences and progress records support your use of the app. You control photo, camera and notification permissions in system settings.

Services supplying app content, configuration and exchange rates may receive technical request information such as IP address, app/device information and the requested resource. Your personal financial entries are not bank-account records, and we do not receive bank credentials or full payment-card details through these features.

Analytics and advertising measurement

Optional product analytics is off until you agree and can be disabled in app settings. With it enabled, analytics providers can receive interaction events, screens, progress, purchase-flow outcomes, selected profile and spending categories, entered amounts and goal statistics, together with pseudonymous app or installation identifiers, device/app information and timestamps. These are not necessarily anonymous data. Diagnostic services may process crash reports, performance and technical request information separately to investigate errors.

Install attribution and subscription or purchase measurement operate separately from the product-analytics choice. They can process installation identifiers, IP address, approximate region, device information, campaign information and purchase events, including amount and currency, and share permitted measurement data with advertising partners. Turning off product analytics does not disable these measurements or server-side purchase reporting. Personal saved-item content, goals and personal-finance amounts are excluded from advertising-network event payloads.

On iOS, the advertising identifier is used only with tracking permission. Refusing it does not stop limited campaign measurement. Manage system advertising permissions or contact us to exercise applicable objection and opt-out rights. We do not sell information for money; advertising-related disclosure may constitute sale or sharing under some laws.

Purchases

Apple or Google Play handles payments. Purchase and access-validation services process a pseudonymous customer or installation identifier, receipts or purchase tokens, transaction and product identifiers, amounts, currency, subscription and entitlement status and technical request information. This supports access, restoration, refunds, support and fraud prevention. Purchase services also provide permitted subscription and purchase events for advertising measurement, including while the app is closed. These functions are separate from optional product analytics.

Support and website visits

If you contact us, we receive your email address, message, attachments and any app or device diagnostics you choose to include. We use these to answer and investigate your request. Website and email providers process technical information, including IP addresses and request times, to deliver and secure these services.

Who receives information

Information goes to the providers identified below for analytics, diagnostics, advertising measurement, purchase processing, hosting and support, as applicable to this app. They receive the data needed for those purposes. Providers processing data for us must protect it at least as described in this policy. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security. The links below explain the providers’ own practices and privacy contact routes.

Why we process information

Where applicable, we process information to perform our contract with you by providing the services and purchases you request, meet legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests in reliability, security, support and limited measurement where the law permits. We rely on consent for optional processing where required; the controls specific to this app are described above. Reading this policy or continuing to use the app is not consent. System tracking permission does not replace any additional consent required by local law.

Retention and deletion

Local entries remain until you delete or reset them, or uninstall the app; system backups or copies outside the app are managed separately. Some protected installation or access records may survive reinstallation. Analytics and campaign records are kept as needed to evaluate usage and campaigns, diagnostics to investigate faults, and technical logs to maintain security. Purchase records are retained for validation, restoration, refunds, disputes and legal obligations; support correspondence for resolution and necessary follow-up.

Disabling analytics stops future optional collection, not processing already performed. Uninstalling does not erase provider records or cancel store subscriptions. Contact us about records held by us or our providers; manage subscription cancellation through the store used for purchase.

Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may request information about processing, access or a copy, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and request an opt-out of advertising-related sale or sharing where applicable. Email us to exercise these rights or challenge our response. We may ask only for information needed to verify and locate your records. You may complain to your local supervisory authority; in Saudi Arabia, this is SDAIA.

International processing and security

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries outside your country of residence, including outside Saudi Arabia. Applicable law may require an adequacy decision, contractual safeguards or separate consent for a transfer. Contact us for details of the recipients, locations and safeguards applicable to your information. We use reasonable security measures, including protected storage and encrypted connections where applicable; no system is completely secure.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and arrange appropriate deletion.

Changes

We will update this policy and its date when practices change. Material changes will be communicated as required, and new consent will be requested where necessary.
