How to look for shared places before meeting
Think of the trips and places that belong to your separate histories. You may remember visiting the same city, but comparing dates is what makes that coincidence worth exploring. Photo memories give you a starting point for looking back together.
Start with your photo memories
Allow access to the photo library so Almost Crossed can use available location and date metadata to build your own memory map. Photos without those clues cannot tell the same story.
Compare with a partner or friend
Choose someone you know who also wants to explore your shared past. Connect with them to compare the clues from both libraries.
Explore the possible crossings
Look at the places and dates that overlap, then talk about what each of you remembers. A possible match is a prompt for a conversation, not proof that you saw one another.
A different way to revisit your relationship story
Maybe you and your partner visited the same place years before your first hello. Maybe a friend was nearby on a trip you thought you took separately. Results depend on the location and date clues available in both libraries; a missing match does not mean your paths never crossed.

How can I find out if we crossed paths before meeting?

Does a match prove we met before?
No. A match suggests your recorded memories were close in place and time. It cannot establish that you noticed each other or identify every moment when you were nearby.
Are my original photos uploaded?
Almost Crossed uses metadata for comparison; the original photos and videos are not uploaded. Connecting with another person shares protected comparison data. Read the privacy policy for what the other person can receive.
Is this a live location tracker or a dating app?
This page describes comparing past memories with a partner or friend you know. It does not offer a way to locate strangers or follow someone's current movements.
